Core i5-12600K with RTX 5070 Ti: Bottleneck & FPS

Paired with the RTX 5070 Ti, the Core i5-12600K delivers roughly 115 FPS at 1440p (1% lows ≈86) in modern AAA games, which our model rates as “excellent balance”. At 1080p the Core i5-12600K becomes the limit (28% CPU bottleneck at 1080p); from 1440p upward the RTX 5070 Ti takes over and the CPU has capacity to spare. In esports titles such as CS2 or Valorant expect around 324 FPS, enough for a 240 Hz monitor, while CPU-heavy games like Microsoft Flight Simulator drop to about 70 FPS with a 54% CPU bottleneck. With ray tracing enabled, expect about 71 FPS at 1440p.
