Ryzen 5 7500F with RX 7700 XT: Bottleneck & FPS

The Ryzen 5 7500F and RX 7700 XT leave the CPU with plenty of spare headroom at 1440p: about 75 FPS on average in AAA games at High settings, with 1% lows around 59 FPS. The RX 7700 XT is the limiting part at every resolution, so the 6-core Ryzen 5 7500F (AM5) still has headroom for about 134 FPS and room for a faster card later. In esports titles such as CS2 or Valorant expect around 240 FPS, enough for a 144 Hz monitor, while CPU-heavy games like Microsoft Flight Simulator drop to about 73 FPS with a 22% CPU bottleneck. Ray tracing costs this AMD card more than an equivalent NVIDIA GPU: about 31 FPS with RT on at 1440p.
