Ryzen 7 5700X3D with RTX 5070: Bottleneck & FPS

Paired with the RTX 5070, the Ryzen 7 5700X3D delivers roughly 100 FPS at 1440p (1% lows ≈82) in modern AAA games, which our model rates as “GPU-limited, CPU has headroom”. The RTX 5070 is the limiting part at every resolution, so the 8-core Ryzen 7 5700X3D (AM4) still has headroom for about 132 FPS and room for a faster card later. In esports titles such as CS2 or Valorant expect around 305 FPS, enough for a 240 Hz monitor, while CPU-heavy games like Microsoft Flight Simulator drop to about 72 FPS with a 43% CPU bottleneck. With ray tracing enabled, expect about 59 FPS at 1440p, so turn on DLSS or FSR to get back above 60.
